Alongside our core team, we maintain a trusted network of highly skilled engineers and architects we can call on for larger programmes — so scale never comes at the cost of quality.
Why we keep a network
Dais Digital is deliberately small. That keeps our standards high and our overheads low, but it also means a single large programme could otherwise consume everything we have. Rather than turn that work away — or grow into the kind of firm that sells one team and delivers another — we maintain a network of associates we already know and trust.
When an engagement needs more capacity or a specialism outside our core, we bring in associates who work to our standards, inside our practices, under our accountability. You still deal with the directors, and the engineers who scoped the work still deliver it.
Scale without dilution
Large programmes need more hands than any small consultancy holds permanently. Our associate network lets us staff a delivery team quickly without lowering the bar or padding it with juniors.
Specialists, not generalists
Some engagements need a deep specialist for a few weeks — a data platform architect, a security engineer, a Kubernetes networking expert. We bring in the right person for that specific problem.
Capacity when it matters
Migration cutovers, regulatory deadlines, and platform rebuilds are rarely evenly paced. Associates let us flex up for the peak and back down again without you carrying the cost in between.
Continuity of standards
Associates work inside our engineering practices — the same code review, the same infrastructure-as-code standards, the same documentation and handover expectations.
How we choose associates
An associate network is only worth having if the bar is the same as the one we hold ourselves to. Four things are non-negotiable.
Senior by default
Every associate is an experienced engineer or architect who has designed, built and operated production systems. No pyramid staffing.
Known to us
We work with people we have delivered alongside, or who come through a technical conversation with one of the directors. There is no CV-shuffling agency in the middle.
Directly accountable
A director stays accountable for delivery on every engagement. Associates join our team; they are never handed over as a substitute for it.
Contracted properly
Clear engagement terms, confidentiality, IP assignment and security clearance handled up front, so associates can be onboarded to regulated environments without friction.

Who we are looking for
- Ten or more years of hands-on engineering experience
- Depth in at least one of our capability areas
- Comfortable working directly with client teams
- Available for project-based or part-time engagements
